This Poppy Lampwork, Swarovski Crystal and 925 Silver Necklace is a One-of-a-Kind piece handmade by Dawn Masters of Silver Dawn Jewels. This exquisite and substantial statement necklace was made using the finest materials: - The one-of-a-kind red lampwork poppies with coordinating green leaves and black rondelles were made by Kirsty Naray of Toronto - Scores of Swarovski fine crystal beads - High-quality Czech seed beads by Preciosa - 925 Silver findings in an antiqued finish, including stunning large finishing cones The necklace was made with 6 strands of fine assorted beads on sterling silver 925 Beading Wire to support 3 large lampwork poppies that drape down beautifully among the leaves. The 6 strands were gathered into robust 925 silver cones. The cones were finished with a 925 silver wire-wrapped loop and a Swarovski faceted round bead. To finish the rear I added a dangle made of Swarovski components to the 925 toggle. The 925 silver was allowed to age to an antiqued finish. This necklace with poppies was made in honour of my father Arthur Masters. A veteran, he resided in The Royal Hospital Chelsea in London which a retirement home for some 300 veterans of the British Army. I wore it once only when he was on a Founder's Day inspection parade for Princess Anne. My father is in the last image. Please check the measurements for fit.
