@mslynn13 Yes they are true to size. I have to size up a half size in this brand if they are regular width to fit my slightly wide foot but I can wear my size in a wide. The website says 8.5 is an EU 39 which is my size and these are 9 or 39.5. They fit me OK - I just found I no longer feel comfortable with that much heel. The shaft is about 5” and the heel is about 2.5. I’ll add another picture showing where I measured.
