6 vintage porcelain bread & butter plates by Noritake, Japan.
White plates are decorated in a circle with pink roses and a gold rim around the edge. This pattern is called "Linda 507" and was used from 1951 to 1955. Despite the fact that these plates are almost 70 years old, thanks to their classic design and high quality, they will always look trendy.
Plates diameter is about 6 1/4" (16 cm).
The plates do not have chips or cracks, but they have small scratches that are visible only at certain angles. Given the age of the plates, their condition can be assessed as "excellent".

A bit of information. The Noritake of today grew out of a trading company (Morimura Brothers) that was established in New York in 1876. This trading company imported chinaware, curios, paper lanterns and other gift items. In 1904, the forerunner of the Noritake Company was established in the village of Noritake near Nagoya in Japan. The goal of this first factory was to create western style dinnerware for export, but it was not until 1914 that the process was perfected.
