Porcelain Trinket Box 4 pc. Tray Set Japan Vintage Pheasant Gold Leaf

Porcelain dresser set with a lidded dish and 2 smaller trays nested within. Decorated with hand painted pheasants and trimmed with gold leaf. The small trays measure approx. 3.75 x 3 x 0.5 inches (10 x 7 x 1 cm). The lidded box measures approx. 5.25 x 4 x 2 inches (13.5 x 10 x 5.5 cm). A bit of wear in the gold leaf, especially on the back image and there is a bit of a rough patch on the lid that appears to be from manufacture. Made in Japan circa 1950s.
