Lovely curvy footed tea or coffee cup in the popular Portmeirion "Pomona" design. This is the small size cup/mug. Made by the famous Portmeirion Pottery in Wales the Pomona series was launched in 1982 and named after Pomona, the Goddess of Fruit. Designed by Susan Williams-Ellis and featuring beautifully illustrated fruit, this series became extremely popular, second only to the best selling Botanic Garden pattern. Now discontinued it has become highly collectable. Measures approximately 2.75ins (7cms) diameter x 2.75ins (7cms) high. In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
