bella_row @jckfashion hi Jon. I’m so sorry to hear your spirits are down ☹️. I know for me, it comes in waves. I’ll go weeks without a sale and then I’ll get 4-5 sales in a day. Keep your head up. Your doing everything right it just takes time. I know with talking to many boutiques on here that it took them a while, even sometimes years, to start making consistent sales. ❤️

zuzusconsign @jckfashion I make around 5-10 Sales weekly. This is what works for me. First, i play @mlb1006 Mystery Posher game as often as I can. Comment u shared the closets and she gives share backs. So does @K2severett. Your pictures are good! Then on Friday’s (pay day), I private offer my items. All of them. All the likers get the offer. I start at 10% plus disc shipping of course. Then drop to 20% (if I need to).

zuzusconsign @jckfashion My best sales are from Fri, Sat, Sun. During the week, I play games to pick up followers and share my items (all of them) every morning and evening. This helps me pick up likes. Also, u need to network and get a solid group of pff’s. I’m going to tag u on some independent games listing for you to play.

zuzusconsign @jckfashion u don’t have to play ALL of them every day, but play at least 2 a day. People will start seeing your shares consistently and will share back for you. Networking is super important. I hope that helps! Best of luck! 🍀

vcher77 @jckfashion Aww..Jon!! Im sorry your spirit is down. I agree with @bella_row. It is up and down. You just have to be patient. I too can go weeks without making a sale and I have my items for 50% off. Its just how it is. I also have realized that when it becomes summer, things tend to slowdown because people are not shopping as much do to people using their money to go on vacation. Keep your head up Jon. It will pick up again😊

tapshe @jckfashion Hi Jon, I know it can be frustrating! I have not been doing this as long or as many of the other poshers that you have contacted. However I find also that I have some amazing weekends and then nothing. One thing I’ve learned is that most buyers shop on weekends, also make sure that you constantly shake up your listings! If people keep coming back and seeing the same things over and over there more likely to stop looking Your pricing looks reasonable. Have you been playing games

zuzusconsign @jckfashion also, when u share “edit share”. Pretend u t going to edit the listing, then share. Your own shares take precedence to shares people give u. They go to the top of the feed.

My phone got wet when I was working in the yard today and I’ve been dealing with phone issues all day! Everyone has given you wonderful advice but I will see what I can add. houndstooth @elguad @jckfashion This tip is VERY important! Don’t just share your closet. Think ENL...Edit, Next, List. You don’t actually have to edit anything, but this gives your listing higher visibility. It takes a few seconds longer but I know it works for me! Some research says that best times to share are 7:00-8:00 a.m., noon, 3:00 pm, and 8:00-11:00 pm, EST. What about congratulating and sharing host picks at posh parties?

houndstooth @jckfashion Sorry I keep rambling. Have you tried share groups? There are many excellent ones. I’ll be happy to recommend some, if you like. They are not only a good way to get your closet shared, but you meet so many new fantastic Poshers!

april12279 @jckfashion List 3 items daily. Prior to this, I never listed unless I had anything I wanted to get rid of. Listing is important – there’s something in the Poshmark algorithm that flags your closet as more active with listings. Also, each time you list, the items tend to find their way closer to the top of the search results. Since most sales are from searches, this is key!

april12279 @jckfashion Following: I used to never follow people back. Following ups your engagement in the app, and reminds people of your closet.Welcoming closets: The new buyer is very important. Welcome new poshers, and help where you can. It can lead to a new sale. It increases your engagement. It seems to be true for me, since a good amount of my sales in the last months came from fairly new poshers.

Earlier in the year, I discussed the 30 minute method from the Poshmark Analytics Facebook group. While still a valid method, users were wondering how it could be adjusted to accommodate the changes in Poshmark.

april12279 @jckfashion So, what changed? It still involves activity within 30 minutes or so, and listing, sharing and following daily. The new method includes sharing from your feed, which highlights the fact that Poshmark Ambassador status requires a certain number of shares. Following suggested users, your own users and new closets has been replaced with following other ambassadors, which change instantly with every refresh of the screen.

I would love to set up a Men's Posher group/game, but like you said, it takes time and I'm still learning as I go. What's funny, not really funny but interesting, as you said you were going to private drop and get sales, I started self sharing to men's style party and received an instant sale!!!!

zuzusconsign @dimsports congratulations on your sale. Not to brag or anything but I made 12 sales yesterday. But remember, you actually have to bump up your list prices higher. I go up by 30% as I find people always want $ off of the listing price. Very rarely do I get a straight out buy.

dimsports No, not really. Been at the hospital all day and night with mom. She's been diagnosed with early stages of CHF (congestive heart failure). She's doing better but they kept her. This has been the only time I've been able to get on Posh. It's really a part of me now especially with the support, networking & friends! Not only the sales/buying. I didn't even realize I was featured in a few games & finally was able to give thanks. I feel so guilty when I don't get on or share back.
