amandamarino How funny his name was Buddy when we rescued him. He was young enuf for us to change his name (to something Italian sounding) of course lol! I will indeed be getting my brown mush a Christmas collar! He will most likely eat it but the he thought will be nice! Haha

amandamarino He was only 12 weeks old believe it or not. Ugh not your typical rescue. Co-worker wanted a puppy for her daughter, enter local bar owner who just had puppies....... Gives away puppies at 6 weeks old argh, all 7 of them. Anyway, co worker has 2 jobs, single mother, no time for puppy, especially one who had been removed from mama to early. Co worker brings puppy to work (both jobs) and leaves in back of her explorer all day covered in fleas! Ugh I hate the thought! Anyway I can stand it, I get flea stuff, clean him up and hold him all day at work. I asked her to please give him to me for a better living situation (had no intention of getting a dog much less a puppy, I once had a life lol) ! She says no, I cry, and think about him everyday. 2 weeks pass, midnight phone call,"Please take this dog!" I say ok and next day he's mine!💜 however, he has a lot of attachment issues and anxiety, but we have it under control . He's NEVER alone and that's fine by me! He rules the house and our lives! Wouldn't trade him for the world! Story makes me sad cause he was in such bad shape when she got him and even worse (even though I did what I could ) when we got him😡😡😡😡. Have ZERO tolerance for irresponsible pet owners. Now he has the best life ever ! My big mush!💜

susansupernova @amandamarino oh my goodness poor boy!! So glad he found his way to you, and is getting treated as he should and smothered with love 💕💕❤️❤️ Our two-we got them at 8 weeks old. They were born in a high kill shelter in the inland empire of CA 😡😡 boo on them. The rescue group rescued all 7 pups (same litter!) and their mama. All of them were so cute and cuddly but these two chose us! And the funny thing is they couldn't be more different! Angus (big head) is our big couch potato mush. Total mamas boy, he literally flattens me when I get home, then snuggles up to me and licks my entire face. He's super goofy and mellow. Casey is our bouncy crazy watch doggy that loves to snuggle and curl up next to you. They get along really well and I know from now on we will always have 2❤️❤️❤️

amandamarino Fantastic! They got very lucky, as did you! I have a friend out there in Cali who works with a ton of different animal rescues in general, however dogs are her real purpose . I can't stand the thought of any animal, especially big mushed like ours living badly or being killed ugh, it breaks my heart! Rumor around my house is Mike (the hubby) would like a second dog!! Yay! It only took him 5 years to get on board. Bruno is slowing down. He is an old soul. On couch for TV at a certain time,In bed at a certain time, and up at the same time everyday! I keep waiting for him to come down the stairs with a robe on, glasses, and a newspaper!! Him biting that man (painter) the other day was so out Of character😔 I'm assuming he is adjusting to the new house, neighborhood, etc. Not one for change . I'm hoping to add the second Mushy face by Spring. *fingers crossed* 😘😘😘😘😘

fashionchicaz It was just awful! We went out to walk him, me and the kids. I had the baby in the stroller! My neighbors German Shepard grabbed him and he lost his life. We are in shock and devastated. We are in shock. The kids are so traumatized.

We have a routine that as soon as I get home they greet me and hi-tail it to the back door and scoop up a toy and we play. Brings me much joy to see that exuberance and unconditional love they show. Some women choose diamonds or pearls-but for me its vintage or handmade turquoise jewelry all the way!

buttonandthread Problem is now-the height. A lil’ thing that is a big obstacle is balance(or major lack thereof, lol). So, heel of this height is/can be dangerous for me, lol. While part of me thinks “screw it”, lol...just take a tumble sometimes 🤣, in reality, I think someone else would/should be able to enjoy these particular kick arse boots, more than I can now.
