luvinlex Dana, I’ve got the Carole Little tapestry coat you bought. I had some issues with the buttons. One was off and in the pocket - when I put it back on, I wanted to go ahead and double sew all of them. Some were “dangling” / on the verge of coming loose. Let me know if this is a problem please let me know. I hope this doesn’t cause you any problems. I apologize in advance for not going over the buttons earlier I don’t want to send it and not have it in the best condition

luvinlex @neptual I already tightened them, I figured you’d rather not fool with it. I’m no seamstress and had to google “sewing on shank buttons” They might be too tight. If you have any issues with them please let me know and I’ll issue a refund on the coat and shipping if you’d send it back instead of a bad review or opening a review? It’s a great coat with the prettiest golden lining. I am def not ever going to be an 8 again!

danielleb1226 @neptual that’s great that you lived there as a child. What a nice family oriented community. We lived in Maple Ridge overlooking a big valley. I’d take the kids to the Carco theatre to see plays then ride bikes on the trail nearby. What fun we had. 😊

danielleb1226 @neptual It’s so beautiful in Oregon. We once visited the coast, Sea Side maybe? There was a giant bird sanctuary just off the coast in the form of a big Rock. Very beautiful! Do you miss it? Are you glad you moved? We have friends that lived there. Steve and Linda Frank. They left recently and moved to a Del Mar Community in Texas.

I made a lot of my jackets,or upcycled them and was just interested in the construction for washing purposes or if it needs to be dry cleaned or anything. If not and it’s sewn or waterproof,I get paid Friday and will for sure purchase. It is a lovely jacket. I love people do do it themselves.
