jackieo_8278 Hello Alexandria! I need guidance. I sold an item today and shipped it, let the buyer know about it. Later I got a message saying, she canceled the order. I ran to post office to cancel the shipment but it was too late. Now I don’t have the money or the item. The buyer opened an account to purchase only. She has no history of sales or any listing. How would you handle this matter? I got in touch with the support center but I have not hear from them yet!

exi13 @jackieo_8278 Oh I am so sorry to hear this. I would definitely keep after Posh about it. They are not always quick to respond so you might have to be patient. Also, if she still has a profile, I would beseech her to return the item. You want to think the best of people but that’s unfortunately not always the case. She could very well be a scammer - someone who purchases, waits for it to ship and then cancels and ends up with an item for free.

exi13 @jackieo_8278 I hope that isn’t the case. I have not had that happen but I did have a brand new pinup girl dress ruined by a buyer and then returned (long story). So I now photograph everything that I sell as I am packaging it up. Posh will be able to see the cancellation and track the package so they know it was delivered. They should reimburse you. If the buyer was a decent person though, they would send it back. Please keep me posted and I will be hoping for a good outcome!!

jackieo_8278 @exi13 Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I got in touch with the buyer, and asked her to send the item back. I didn’t receive a cancellation order from Poshmark! I assumed everything is taking its course. I sent the buyer a note, she answered me back saying she’ll make sure I will be compensated. Thank GOD there are honest people out there. 😊 🌹🌺

If I purchase insurance, the post office will print a whole different label ( not Poshmark label). How do you deal with it? Thank you 😊

exi13 @jackieo_8278 You know I have not ever had to purchase more insurance. So I’m sorry I don’t have an answer. Maybe another Posher who sells high end items can help. I am so sorry I am not any help on this one. Let me know what you find out and how it goes. I am curious! 😊

Went to the post office today ,they have to print a different label and tracking number. ( not Poshmark label) I contacted Poshmark yesterday still waiting for an answer. I will let you know!!
