donjon16 I am almost 38 and have been caretaker for my Mom for a decade now. I just realized writing this that I am now the same age she was when she had me and WOW. I cant imagine chasing an infant again. My mom also has Alzheimers, as well as Parkinson's. I am her only child and I love being her support. My mom is well recognized her small town, and wherever we go, as she is 4'7" and never weighed 80lbs, even pregnant. Prayers for blessings and strength in the challenges and the gifts of caretaking
