Pottery accent piece | small | earth tone colors

A beautiful handmade piece suitable for someone who likes pottery or looking to add some earth tones into their home. With the pinch and the holes, it feels symmetrical until you have a closer look. A few details are slightly off providing more interest and something to contemplate. The shape and paint details make you want to have a closer look. This came from a relative so I am guessing it was purchased on a studio tour around 1995. Unfortunately I don't know enough about pottery to provide more insight. The finish is matte. It looks like something (looks & feels like tile grout) got stuck on the bottom during the making. Please note the color changes quite a bit in different lighting.
