mayaselim Hi I’m curious to know where you got the bag from? The logo is really different than the authentic Prada logo I’m confused if the logos are always different like that in every bag? Cuz on the prada website it is different. The sewing around the prada logo is also not perfectly shaped. I’m just genuinely curious thank you!

shede182 @mayaselim This bag is 100% authentic as it says with the authentication card. The logo is different from the website and the stitching may have a bit of wear because this bag is a very old model. Older Prada models have a logo with no slit in the "R" as seen in newer models.

shede182 @mayaselim This bag was purchased at a high end consignment store that always pre authenticates their items before putting them up for sale. So this bag was Double authenticated before sale. Authentication from official prada store (Original Authentication card) and at the place of my purchase. Hope this helps :)

mayaselim @shede182 okay that makes sense thank you for explaining! But does that mean other rep prada bags can deceive some people since they do have different/same logo designs? I have a vintage wallet and the 2000 edition bag they both have the same design but I’ve been seeing different logos in each different bags which just confused me 😂 thank you anyway for explaining I’ll do some research since I’m clueless about prada

shede182 @mayaselim Prada logos are confusing lol. but I have been able to notice the fake logos are quite easy to spot. The "R" is a dead giveaway to me. I guess its because I have been a prada collector for years. There are two main Rs I have noticed the R with a slit and the R like the one one this bag. The fake bags/wallets look to have Longer Rs its hard to explain without pictures. There are plenty of good resources available on google. Thanks for checking out my closet! Happy Poshing :)

shede182 @mayaselim A good way to get what I am trying to say about the Rs is to even just look on Poshmark here and look at the replicas for sale. The logos just looks off on most of them. :)
