Prana Lined shell pants

Prana pants. Got these from a friend and I’ve never worn them. They have a shell feel outer and soft inner lining. Could be great for hiking?… The size and style pant don’t work for me. I think they sit right at the waist, and I like more high waist these days. I’m 5’5 and the legs are also too long for me.
