For your consideration, a new, unworn set consisting of a pair of dangling earrings and a matching lapel/hat pin, featuring a replica of quimbaya poporo , a vessel made by pre-columbian indigenous South American people, the set was made for Bogota Gold Museum, tit is signed but I'm not familiar with the maker, it would made a a beautiful gift!
QUIMBAYA CULTURE
The quimbaya poporo is a piece of pre-Columbian art from the classical quimbaya period. It is exhibited in the Bogota Gold Museum. Its main use was as a ceremonial container for the mambeo of coca leaves during religious ceremonies. The specimen on display was made around the year 301 BC
