Preloved Wool Cap Sleeve Sweater Dress

This dress is from a Toronto-based shop called Preloved that upcycles vintage fabrics and clothing. The fabrics used for this line was trousers, dress shirts and sweaters. Dress is almost black, a very, very dark grey overall. Bottom half is solid dark grey/black, while the waist and bust is an almost identical fabric with faint pinstripes. Back is also a nearly identical fabric with more obvious, but still faint alternating pinstripes. Red knit cap sleeves. Trim made from a grey floral patterned fabric is sewn under the bust. It is sewn together to have a frayed look in some areas (waist, bust, cross at back and trim). Almost 20 years old and in great shape. Tag reads 100% unknown fibers. But it definitely feels like a wool blend, if not 100% wool. Sleeves might be acrylic, but are very soft and could be merino or angora.
