Pretty Vintage Retro 70’s Nylon See-through Crochet Tote Handbag in Deep Purple

I picked up this handbag in a second hand store in the 90’s when Grannie boots & long dresses were all the rage. This bag went perfectly with a number of my outfits and I adored it. I even made a safety pin full of matching beads to go with it, as was the fashion then, and I’ve left it attached to the bag so the new owner can decide if they’d like to keep it or not. Honestly I felt it was too cute to remove. lol! Tbh I still absolutely adore this bag but she’s rarely used and it makes me sad to see her just sitting in my closet. It’s time for her to go to someone else who’ll get her out of the house and into the light where she belongs💜 The bag is crocheted from a plastic nylon yarn from the 70’s and, as you can see from the pictures, it’s see-through in many places. I always kept pens & pencils & eye liner in a little cosmetics bag so nothing would slip through the cracks. It’s large enough for your wallet, a book or small tablet, phone, a small cosmetics bag and keys.
