These are genuine pearls (exact type unknown) averaging 8mm - 9mm in diameter each with 14k (585) ball closure. Based on clasp design, I believe these are vintage. Please note that there is some kind of repair done to the necklace as seen in the 3rd photo. I do not know the type of repair or its effect on durability but I have handled this necklace and worn it (pearls need skin oils to maintain their luster!!) and have had no issues with sturdiness or appearance. A very pretty necklace!

prairieskygirl @myfindsyourdeal ~ hi, I am looking for signs of previous damage in your third photo. Can't see any. All I see is a close-up of the French wire coil that every high-end jewellery should use at the end of a strand, and the symbol for gold stamped on the clasp. Am I looking at the wrong photo ? 🤭🤭🤭❤️

myfindsyourdeal @flakydanish Hi there, so sorry for the delay in responding. The repair is visible on pic 3 between the first and second pearls shown. In person, it is noticable. It almost looks like someone used super glue to repair the strand. Full disclosure: a Posh member bought this necklace and brought the repair to my attention as I had missed it myself: that's how unnoticeable it was to me! I

myfindsyourdeal took the item back and refunded the member. I relisted it at a lower price because of the "defect". I have personally worn this necklace at my wedding in 2018 and it survived the night...lol. That's all the additional info I have on this. Thanks for checking this out!!!!
