Provence Santon Terracotta Statue

A terracotta "Santon" statue made in Provence in the south of France. The figure is of a man wearing a hat who has what look to be jugs tied across his back. The bottom reads "Bourges St. Remy de Provence." The studio that made this is just north of the city of St. Remy. It is 5 1/4" tall and the base is 2 1/4" deep by 2" in width.
