Only tried on. I prefer fitted and at the bottom but the lettuce design sticks out. It's a beautiful top, but because I bought it from the States it'll cost me more to return it than to sell it here. It has an elasticity to keep the shirt in place all the way around, and it's extremely stretchy. I'm more of a large but it did fit me. It was just a little loose on my stomach area.
