It was literally in the bottom of a cedar chest wrapped in an old piece of tissue with yellow marks from the original cello tape. I'm guessing it was a duplicate wedding gift and was forgotten in storage. Loaded with gorgeous photo real style color litho plates and some B&W illustrations, with 960 tested recipes from Purity highly sought after collectible heirloom since it's first book in 1932 IYKYK 👩‍🍳📚🍽 The stylish Mid Century Modern green cover features gold embossing and the spine title has that beautiful slanted font 💚 there is a manufacturers defect of wrinkling on the inner front cover see photos It is old but appears unused other than tiny inked "Mom" No noticed stains or markings or damage but as is since it is do old and I'm not a professional book grader. I'm going to hold firm on the price for the right collector who knows what an amazing rare find this is. I sell inherited books to aquire books for my own personal library collection.
