Add a touch of elegance to your outfit with this stunning purple and black poodle brooch. Perfect for dog lovers and fashion enthusiasts alike. Sisters Lynne Gordon and Marge Borofsky co-founded Mylu Designs Co. Some sources say they began in the 1950s, although their designs are more indicative of 1960s jewelry. The use of the copyright symbol with the Mylu mark suggests a starting date sometime after 1955, nonetheless. Their company became a part of Coro in 1968. They continued to oversee the Mylu division of Coro until they left in 1970. They then partnered with Michael Tancer, who had also worked for Coro, to form a new company: Tancer & Two. Mylu is best known for producing Christmas pins, especially trees and other small figural pins. Some of their designs were reused and rebranded by Tancer & Two. It is unclear how long the Mylu branding was used. Coro, however, closed its doors in 1979, so no later than that time period. Condition: Excellent as shown in photos.
