Horizon Blue was released to commemorate the successful moon landing of Apollo 11 in 1969. Made untill 1972. Shades of blue can vary for this set depending on year, as Corning was riding the mix and match dinnerware trend. Excellent condition, very minimal signs of being pre-loved, gorgeous and glossy still! Photographs show a darker blue than real life. True colour is closer to teal or dark turqouise. It's lighter and more teal than Pyrex's Primary blue shade. No chips, the lighting is reflecting off the rim no matter what angle I try, creating a chipped illusion in the photos.
