Pyrite Gemstone Necklace with Oxidized Silver and Gold Chain

This simple pyrite necklace features a gorgeous, onion-shaped pyrite gemstone. Pyrite is also known as fool's gold, and is a beautiful, dark gold colour. Some pyrite is dull, but this high-quality gem is beautifully faceted so that it really sparkles. Gem is wire-wrapped with oxidized sterling silver wire which really sets off the burnished gold stone. Gold-filled chain and lobster clasp decorated with more pyrite stones completes this necklace of dark and light. This necklace is approx. 18" (46cm) in length; however I would be happy to adjust the length for you at no additional cost. You will receive the exact necklace shown in my photos. By law, it has 1/20th by weight layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal. It is tarnish-resistant, safe for sensitive skin and unlike gold plate, it will not wear off.
