judithmcculloch @fleurbleue54 I measured the jacket again and it is 17” from pit to pit. There is a little seam allowance if you decided to have it altered. Hope that helps!😀

fleurbleue54 Merci! So since these are puff sleeves, can I add about 2 inches of each side (shoulders) for a total of about 16.5? Does that make sense? fabric: wool blend do you think? Thank you for your help!
