Issued in 1953 and produced by A.J. Wilkinson Ltd for Royal Staffordshire Pottery England. Gold lettering around the maker's stamp states "Approved by the Council of Industrial Design". Produced for Queen Elizabeth II's June 2, 1953 coronation. Navy band around outer edge of plate with gold filigree and gold along trim. In the centre of the plate, there is a picture of the young Queen, surrounded by the Royal seal and the date of the occasion. 8.25" in diameter For decorative purposes only Excellent pre-loved condition.
