RARE! Antique Copeland Spode George III teacup and saucer set.
Beautifully made teacup with a scalloped rim and split handle at the top.
Stamped: COPELAND, REG NO, 677526, SPODE, ENGLAND, SPODE’S
GEORGE III
Both feature a tropical bird with blue and white chintz.
The teacup is 2 3/8” tall and 2 1/2” diameter, 3 3/8” including handle.
The saucer is 4 1/2” diameter.
The teacup rings true, no chips, cracks, or crazing.
The saucer does have some crazing, mostly on the bottom.
Some factory flaws.

This is a beautiful little set! 2 ‘dots’ of paint bubbles on the inside of the teacup, a brown colour, near the stem of fruit and blue paint mishaps in places. Other than that, these are in amazing condition considering age.
