This highly collectable shirt is from the 70's by Nik-Nik made in Italy. The Nik-Nik company was formed by Harold Schulman and Barry Boonshaft, who met designer Gianfranco Ruffini in 1969 in Capri, Italy. The company was launched in 1970 as a division of Hobeau Enterprises. Ruffini, along with his Paris-based staff, designed all of Nik-Nik’s engineered prints. They closed in 1977.
The Holy Grail of disco shirts!!
This one features fabulous silhouettes of a woman and man arriving at the ball. And a phenomenal massive dagger collar!
The colours are a pale ice pink on one side and then two tones of icy blues on the other side. All Nik Nik shirts were 100% nylon. As is this one. She is a little loose on my size 4 model which leads me to think she may be a size 6 medium-But can be worn slightly oversized.
She is in amazing condition, no rips or tears. All the buttons are still intact. Usually, I would say tuck in the dagger collar disco shirt, but because of the design on this with the full length silhouette, I imagine this would look best layed over a gogo mini skirt with high boots and a Penny Lane jacket- or fitted high waisted flared out pants.
This one is such a showstopper I just cannot!.

@raeann_almeida no worries! She’ll be here I presume for a while. She is a treasure. I think people need to just think about her. I’m sure one day she will find a home one day!
