RARE Art deco Little Nemo large green flower brooch, vintage signed L/N costume

...jewelry brooch, large flower power brooch A wonderful large costume brooch shaped like a flower. The head is made up of a riveted 3d button in silver and green stones in the centre of larger surround made up of chartreuse green round glass stones and short baguette apple green glass ones. The leaves look enamel or painted, and have some wear to them. The pin is quite short, possibly from wear, and at the moment it does still close up inside the roll-top clasp. The metal is a non-precious white metal or ´pot´ metal. There is a small mark L/N on the metal, which is the makers mark for Little Nemo. They were the second largest producer of costume jewellery, only after Coro, and they were active between 1913 and 1978. The style of the flower looks to be a bit older, and the use of the baguette stones seems unusual in Little Nemo pieces. Condition: All stones are there, the green colour on the leaves a bit worn and the closing pin worn quite short. Size: 3-1/4 inches long (8.3 cm) and ca 1.5 inches wide (3.7 cm)
