msanthr0pe @noavery @badgalrearea Thanks for your interest! …I actually worked at a lingerie boutique in Montreal shortly after this collection was released; at that time we sold the bra alone for almost $300. It was at the very top end of Aubade’s offerings then; extremely high quality and with unmatched detailing (especially compared with what they’re making now, imo.)

msanthr0pe @noavery @badgalrearea I already own a set from this collection, and wanted to have another bra since I love wearing it so much. Unfortunately I mixed up my size in Lise Charmel with Aubade, so it’s too small; but it’s in basically perfect condition, and these pieces are almost impossible to find now.

msanthr0pe @noavery @badgalrearea It’s amazing that you’re both so invested in the great discount I got from the seller I bought it from; but consider the fact that you never know people’s motivations when buying and selling. A transaction is defined as the price two parties are willing to AGREE on! There’s no coercion on this platform: just people making deals!

msanthr0pe @noavery @badgalrearea Who knows, perhaps my seller was so motivated because they got the piece from an ex they don’t want to remember anymore?! We could speculate endlessly, but probably will never know. I’m obviously less motivated, on the other hand, since this bra will fit my daughter, and I don’t care if I sell it.

You can’t be upset that you sold something cheap to someone willing to try for a higher price 🤷🏻‍♀️ That’s just the nature of a free market!
