RARE Fiorentini+Baker black suede 'Sassy' laced-back ankle boot, EU41, NWT

There are many reasons why Fiorentini+Baker boots are so highly coveted; they're so well-made they can last an entire lifetime; they're constantly being photographed on celebrities; they're instant classics that go with almost everything in your wardrobe (ok, maybe not evening gowns); and they are fantastically comfortable to wear. When I finally got my first pair of F+B sneakers, I nearly wept with joy. Seriously, it's like the difference between a Ford Pinto and a Rolls-Royce - they are in a class by themselves. And I own a LOT of fancy Italian sneakers, so that should tell you something. I bought this particular pair of boots many years ago, thinking that they would probably be the last pair of mid-heel ankle boots I ever bought. Sadly, recurring knee problems ended my ongoing love affair with pretty much all heels, so I was right, just not for the reasons I expected. You guys, these boots are so GORGEOUS, and they lace up the back! Not really any harder than lacing things up the front as it turns out, but it takes a minute to get used to. They don't make this style any more so they're impossible to find nowadays. And this pair is pristine, in the original box with dustbag. The box, sadly, was much less than pristine but the boots themselves are perfect. Size 41, fits my 9.5 feet very comfortably even with thicker socks, so I'm guessing these would work for up to size 10.
