RARE Signed Schreiner Dramatic Black Crystal Brooch Book Piece AS IS

For your consideration, a stunning huge signed Schreiner New York, reminiscent of a giant spider, the brooch is made in a dramatic black uni tone, out of japanned gunmetal, black crystals and shiny glass, a real showstopper! The brooch is a rare book piece featured in "Schreiner: Masters of Twentieth-Century Costume Jewelry" by Tanenbaum & Townsend (p.70). Condition: please note that the brooch is sold in a condition AS IS. After comparison with the book piece, it appears that it's missing a third pear shaped glass bead mounting, even though it doesn't have damage signs on the construction. The clasp holds securely.
