RARE VINTAGE 1957 COPYRIGHT LADYBUG, LADYBUG! ROBERT KRAUS RARE CHILDREN’S BOOK

Vintage rare children’s book called Ladybug, Ladybug! Is about a volunteer fire department (friends of Ladybug, think animals and birds here) trying to save Ladybug’s home. Very entertaining, uplifting and cute. Copyright 1957, story & pictures by Robert Kraus. Published by Harper & Brothers. Illustrations are in black & white. Author Robert Krause has had drawings appear regularly in the New York Times, as per the book jacket. Hardcover book measures 10 x 7 1/2 inches and is in great vintage shape. Unrated vintage book; all pages are legible, clear and flat; spine crisp and intact. There is a pencilled price on 1st page top right hand corner. The paper dustjacket does have wear and little tears due to age and usage; left inside flap of jacket bottom looks like it may have been cut diagonally. The book cover is in colour and is the same design as the dustjacket. The back of this hardcover is orange. Black at spine. Great collectible children’s book.
