RARE VTG Greek Custom Wool Cape and Skirt Set with Embroidery and Copper Insets

An incredibly unique knee length cape and a matching A line skirt, both completed in a soft, cozy wool. This is a rare find. 💎 Both pieces are adorned with striking embroidery that includes circular copper inlays. Expertly tailored! Hand finished garments. Both pieces are satin lined. The cape has a snap button front closure. The full length slits allow for easy movement. With the shoulder seams, this cape sits comfortably and requires minimal adjustment. The panelled construction skirt has a hook and side zipper closure. This is a gorgeous skirt that can be worn without the cape, simply paired with a solid tone knit and it serves as the perfect statement piece. Made in Greece A traditional celebratory design. In great vintage condition! The wool has a lovely natural fluffiness with some normal wear evident on the cape, mostly at the shoulders. No visible stains and a very clean lining. Some aging/small spots of wear evident on the front left chest ( photo 6 ) of the cape.
