RARE Vintage 1½ Inch WIDE BANGLE - HINGED, SAFETY CHAIN, Rhinestones, Gold Tone

Simple and understated, this Mid Century gold tone cuff bracelet has the look of an expensive designer-brand but it is unsigned. The muted brushed texture with silver tone border on top and bottom, the well-hidden pin hinge and tongue and groove box clasp, the safety chain, and the prong held rhinestones, were all elements found in signed bangles. Despite much searching, I couldn’t find another like this one – the closest I found were karat gold or gold-filled bracelets. The bangle is 1 ½ inches wide with a 2 ½ inch diameter, and 7 inch inner circumference. The multi-coloured rhinestones (clear, red, amber, green, purple, and blue) vary in size and asymmetrical positioning, and are all prong held and secure. The unobtrusive hardware and chain are strong and work well. This bangle is very well made and in great vintage condition. The only sign of wear is in the inside trim of the box clasp where some of the gold tone has rubbed off as seen in final photo.
