RARE Vintage Gay Rodeo Trophy Sterling Silver Buckle with Belt NWGRA (North West Gay Rodeo Association) GREATER NORTHWEST 93 INTERNATIONAL RODEO sterling silver trophy buckle for Chute Dogging Beautiful Sterling Silver engraved trophy buckle with gold plated brass (gold worn off in places) and sterling silver engraved tip end. The NWGRA in green on the buckle is chip inlaid with malachite. On the backside of the buckle is scribed: Sponsor Tim Gather Jackson 9 . 93 Sterling Silver The buckle and tip end do not attract a magnet. The conchos/medallions do have a slight attraction to a magnet. The silver weighs are only very approximate due to still being attached to the belt. Belt is black genuine cowhide leather with four silver plated engraved conchos or medallions. (First photo looks like the leather has faded at the bottom, this is just a photo glitch, it is the same black colour throughout.) Total length 52 1/4” Approximately 43” waist at narrowest - 48” at widest Gently pre-loved worn condition with some wear and metal is not polished and does have patina, especially on the back of the buckle. Smoke free, cat friendly home.
