RCMP Coat

If you are interested in owning a piece of history, here it is! This is a gorgeous red wool RCMP coat with all sorts of great details. I actually bought it for myself but found it too boxy and large on me so I would like to pass it on to you! It is in great condition. One missing button on the breast pocket as pictured and there is a light indentation on the cuff of the sleeve where I assume there was once the insignia of the regiment or maybe even the individual who owned the garment. A little hole on the inside of the collar as pictured and there is a place inside the jacket where the tag with all the pertinent information of the wearer of this coat would have been. The holes in the collar and shoulders are there purposefully for attaching epaulets and insignias/badges. This garment has been very well taken care of and is a true piece of Canadiana. Last photo is the example of some of the pieces missing on this coat. Some padding in the shoulders. Lining in the sleeves. No fabric or size tags but this feels very much like a wool or wool blend. Under arm to under arm 20 1/2" Shoulder to shoulder 16 1/2" Sleeve length 26 1/2" Length 28"
