This is a beautiful Royal Doulton porcelain “First Dance” figurine HN2803. She is an elegant and charming lady figurine designed by artist Peggy Davies and signed by Michael Doulton. The lady is dressed in her beautiful baby blue and white gown; this charming young lady is ready to have her first dance of the evening. it portrays a lovely lady dressed in a long baby blue gown with puffy white sleeves and white border trimmed with a garland of delicate yellow flowers with green foliage. In her right hand she holds a fan decorated with shaded red and yellow rose blossoms and her toe is gently peeking out from beneath her swirling dress which is characteristic of the Pretty Ladies series. It is made of the finest hand decorated bone china (porcelain) and stands about 7 ¼” tall. She is fully marked on the base, Royal Doulton Tableware LTD 1976 and signed by Michael Doulton. She is in perfect condition, no chips, cracks, discoloration or fading and comes with the original box. This would make a prefect gift or a collector item.
