Rare 1940s Set of 10 Swinnertons English Ironstone 8.75” Plates - Roses + Gold

Beautiful floral and gilded gold set of ten ironstone dinner plates manufactured in England by Swinnertons; the production stamp on the back of each dish was in use between the 1940’s and 1950’s. This lovely set appears to have very little to no wear, however two plates have crazing. Displaying the rare and hard to find pattern of large pink-red rose flowers + blooms with greenery on a creamy white base colour and gilded gold trims; featuring stunning gold filigree brocade detailing along the edges of the trims. This vintage set makes a gorgeous and elegant addition for hosting and gatherings!
