Rare 1950’s Black Brocade Evening Dress

Striking little evening dress from the 1950’s in black floral satin brocade. This piece features so many unique details, such as the feminine scalloped neckline and shoulder caps, original side and cuff metal zips, gathers at the hips, and a classic straight cut skirt with back kick-pleat. Fully lined, very elegant and flattering on. Estimated modern size XS/S. Measurements below are approximate and taken laid flat. Pit to pit—16.75” Waist—12.75” (13” snug) Length—40” from top of shoulder down. Excellent vintage condition—minor signs of wear, subtle dry cleaner scent.
