Rare 1960’s Maddock Madeira Lidded Casserole Dish Floral + Gold Trim England VTG

Gorgeous elegant covered serving dish with both the dish and lid displaying florals and leaves in shades of green, pink, blue and yellow, on a white base with gold trim. Manufactured in England by John Maddock & Sons - this manufacturing mark was used beginning in 1961. It is stamped with the very rare and hard to find pattern Madeira. This dish is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, staining, discolouration, etc. however there is a manufacturing flaw and two flaws along the outer edge, as seen in the last two photos Measurements: 4 1/2” inches height x 9 1/8” inches length including handles x 8 1/2” inches width Vintage china/items often have small manufacturing flaws and/or signs of wear; these do not affect the integrity of the item but is something to be mindful of when purchasing.
