Rare 1960s Vintage Bar Fly Shaped Bottle & Can Opener This humorous bar tool was created in the 1960's. This bottle and can opener is officially called the Bar Fly. Cast from solid brass, the large fly has a lacquered finish and black enamel painted decoration. The opener itself is cast from brass and is attached to the underside of the large insect. This big funny fly has remained in good vintage and useable condition. There is several areas where the black enamel now has signs of wear and use, and is scratched and worn down to the gold under plating, see close up photos.
