Rare 1970s Wall Clock by Arthur Umanoff for Howard Miller, Mid Century, Brass

Rare find: handsome wall clock by Howard Miller. The design is by Arthur Umanoff who along with George Nelson was responsible for approximately 140 clock designs for Howard Miller in the mid century period. Condition: Overall the clock is in excellent original condition The body of the clock is real brass, some wear and one area of splitting of the brass (pictured) but this is hardly noticeable and in no way impacts function. The clock mechanism is quartz battery movement with a second hand. The clock mechanism is in need of repair. The measurements are about 10.5” in diameter and 2” deep. Made in West Germany. The face plate is labeled Howard Miller. The original back labels including with the model number 622-833 is intact.o
