Rare 50's Canadian Designer Black Circle Skirt

Brilliant Vintage Designer Val Hughes is as obscure and rare of a designer as you can possibly hope to find anywhere. Her pieces usually fetch $400-500 each, if found. This skirt, is the most amazing skirt I've ever seen. The material is thick and luxurious, but also very silky. I don't know what the material is because there is no material tag. Seems like a cotton taffeta blend?This is a OOAK item! Waist: 24" Knee length Unlined. Fastens with metal zip and lucite diamond cut button.
