Rare 50s Vintage Handbag. Convertable to 3 styles. Lucite handle. Stunning!

This unique L and M handbag has three ways to use it: 1. Matte black faille is the stand alone purse. 2. One reversible facade is shiny black patent. 3. The other side of the reversable facade is paisley motif, velvet fabric. The purse is lined in black faille and has the L and M logo printed on the inside pocket. This 1957 patent design by Lowy and Mund of New York has a clear lucite handle and special hooks for quick change, the clip-hooks and hardware are a silver-tone metal. The interior has one compartment with a flat pocket. Condition: Excellent vintage. No damage, just the usual slight wear for something 60+ years vintage (nothing very noticeable). Very sturdy and clean. Size: Purse body measures 9 inches long by 7.5 inches wide by 3 inches deep. Very very difficult to let this one go. #vintage #lucite #velvet #retro
