This antique carnival glass bowl is a rare piece according to a reference book by Bill Edwards & Mike Carwile. Mike Smith owns this bowl and after an intensive search with no concrete result he named it: Mike's Mystery. It may come from Europe or Scandinavia according to him. The pattern was never found in any catalog however is it featured in the Antique Carnival glass encyclopedia. Likely made in very early 1900s - 1920s. Gorgeous pedal, cross/diamond, banding and fluting, cathedral like detailing throughout.
This bowl is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, repairs, etc. however there are a few manufacturing air bubbles. Truly amazing for age and rarity.
