Rare PARAGON Gainsborough Antique Series Wide Teacup + Saucer Vintage 1960’s HTF

This rare coveted Antique Series teacup and saucer are a stunning addition to any collection! Manufactured by Paragon in England in the 1960’s pattern “Gainsborough”; this set features a wide mouth cup; both the teacup and saucer beautifully displays a courting couple in a garden, on a lovely muted blush coloured base, featuring a gilded gold scalloped trim. Marked “By Appointment To Her Majesty The Queen China Potters - Paragon - Fine Bone China England Registered - Antique Series - Gainsborough” No signs of use on either piece. This very hard to find duo is a lovely collectors set. Both pieces are in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, staining, discolouration, etc. Measurements: Cup: 2 1/2” inches height x 4 1/4” inches diameter x 5” inches length including handle Saucer: 5 1/2” inches diameter Vintage china often has small manufacturing flaws and/or signs of use; these do not affect the integrity of the item but is something to be mindful of when purchasing.
