Rare Sterling, Shagreen and Opal Frog Cuff Bracelet by Artist Lou Guerin .

On offer is an outstanding bracelet by the artist Lou Guerin of Bali, Indonesia. In impeccable condition , it features a sterling silver highly detailed frog, polished opal inset in its back, crawling atop a polished chocolate brown shagreen leather cuff. Sterling silver textured ends complete this collectible piece. Marked 925 and Guerin on the inside of the sterling pointed ends. Measures 3" across at its widest/ 1.25" opening so best on a smaller wrist. Comes with a beautiful burgundy leather fringed bag with an embossed silver snake motif attached to the front. Bag measures 6" x 4.25". Lou Guerin Lou comes from France. He began leather crafting in Paris at age of 20, designing high fashion belts. He traveled to Mexico, where he learned the Huarache Indian braiding techniques. He adapted these designs into new forms while in Ibiza, Spain, where for 8 years he immersed in an innovative climate of leather crafting in the Spanish tradition. Later he moved to Morocco studying from local artisans. After Morocco, he spent 6 years in New Zealand making custom boots and in 2000 moved to Bali where he continues to produce stunning art sold only in exclusive boutiques worldwide.
