THEY WERE ALL HINGED. THE HINGE WAS BRASS AS THIS ONE IS. IT ALSO HAS THE CORRECT LINING. THEY WERE ALL MADE IN THE USA, NOT ITALY AS SOME KNOCK OFFS. IT MEASURES 7 3/4" LONG, IS 7 3/4" WIDE, AND IS 2 1/4" HIGH."OUTSIDE MEASUREMENTS" BOX IS HEAVY. IT WEIGHS OVER 3 lb. IT HAS A BEAUTIFUL 3D WILD HORSES. THE WHOLE BOX IS ELABORATE. THE "STONE" THAT THIS BOX IS MADE OF IS REALLY CRUSHED MINERALS. THE COLOURS ARE QUIET, AND BEAUTIFUL. THEY WOULD MATCH ANY DECOR. IT IS IN NICE VINTAGE CONDITION, NO ISSUES.
