Rare Vintage Wayne Clark Showstopper Maxi Evening Coat/Dress

Stunning piece from Canadian designer Wayne Clark. From my own collection this coat is like new and has been well cared for. I’ve worn it twice and it has been loaned out to one Canadian actor for her red carpet walk. The sleeves were shortened for this event but the fabric was left intact so the length could be restored easily. Circa late 80s. Based on a 30s walking coat or suit coat with a few modern touches. Walking creates a dramatic swell movement of the lower coat while glimpses of leg beg stares from onlookers. Satin short shall collar. Fitted through bodice to below the waist. Moderate flare to hemline. In seam side pockets. Satin accent buttons. Full open button front. Generous fitting 6 will list as a small as it’s likely to fit a multitude of sizes.
