Rare Vintage mid century opal stone chips brooch stamped Scandia sterling.

Beautiful brooch stamped Scandia sterling. Shaped like Australia so these are possibly opals that came from Australia. Bright colour shifting opal chips. Mid century piece from the 1950’s and is in used condition. The pin is a bit stiff to open and stops half way with some signs of patina on the enclosure and dark part on the stick part of the pin. A few stones look like they are missing but does not take away from this Beautiful colourful piece! Could be kept as and worn, polished up or reimagined. Comes with pouch and gift box.
